PROFESSOR,
INTERIOR ARCHITECT, + ART DIRECTOR.
I seek to find the connection between humanness, empathy, culture, and identity through multi-disciplinary design practices. I spent a large part of my career designing spaces for interaction in an effort to better understand the nuances of how we individually live our lives, focusing on what fuels our behaviors and augments our human potential. I’m always on the hunt for ways to infuse those same design principles into the creative work I do in architecture and interiors, branding, art direction, product design, experience design, and human-centered strategy.
I am captivated by the autonomy we have over our self-identity and the influence of fringe cultures on the built environment. My insatiable curiosity is always on the lookout for ways that all mediums of design can surprise, delight, and shock through unconventional strategies and unexpected perspective shifts.
I currently reside in Savannah, GA where I teach visual communication, brand and visual identity design, brand strategy, brand experience, and fragrance marketing at Savannah College of Art and Design alongside running my interior architecture + design studio.
